Shadow Rest Ministries can help. We're non-denominational. We can serve as listeners or spiritual directors. We also offer spiritual formation and discipleship training for lay church members and leaders. We can serve as a marriage getaway.
A Spiritual Retreat in Southeast Missouri
We're at the edge of
town, but we're in the country, by woods and a large open field where
several deer like to run. Our retreat center is new, clean, has a family
reunion atmosphere. The hardwood decor is perfect for small group
worship or lounging, while we prepare a great meal in the professional
kitchen a few steps away.
We have a LOW ROPES COURSE: LOADS of fun!
We have modern
cabins and RV hookups, and we're only minutes from several motels, state
park hiking trails and Mississippi River overlooks. The little chapel
on the hill is available for meditation. It's also a symbol of what
we're about. Our property has several convenient nooks and crannies,
great for small group discussions.
